Creating a live stream on Dailymotion is simple and shouldn’t take longer than a minute.
Create a live stream
Follow the steps below to create a live stream:
- From your Dailymotion Studio, go in Media > Live streams.
-
Click on the New live stream button.
-
Enter your live stream’s basic information (title, category, language...) and click on Next to access the encoder information.
-
Paste the following information into your encoder:
- For RTMP streams: copy/paste the Stream URL and Stream Key.
-
For SRT streams (required to use SSAI): copy/paste the SRT URL.
- Click on Configure live stream.
Your live stream is now created on your Dailymotion Studio! We would however recommend to finish configuring your live stream and define the settings you want via the live dashboard.
You can now set up your encoder and make sure you comply with Dailymotion's Dailymotion's encoding guidelines.
