You can now generate unrestricted stream URLs directly from your Dailymotion Studio!

Simply go to Media > Videos or Live streams > 3-dot menu > File links, choose your preferred format, and you're ready to embed your content into any player!

We've introduced a new end-screen feature called "Watch now", designed to improve engagement and provide viewers with an uninterrupted watching experience.

At the end of a video, instead of the usual carousel, viewers can see a "Watch now" suggestion that highlights the next video that will most likely keep them watching without them having to choose among several videos.

You can easily enable or disable this feature from your Player configuration in your Studio ("Display watch now card") or via the API.

We have recently updated the list of supported browser versions for the Dailymotion Player.

To enjoy the best experience with our Player, including access to the latest features and improvements, please use the latest version available of your browser.

We've introduced Hold to speed, a new Player feature that lets users increase the playback speed x2 by simply taping/clicking and holding on the video. On release, playback returns back to normal speed.

This feature makes it easier for viewers to watch longer videos without skipping ahead in 10-second jumps, ensuring they stay engaged without missing key moments of your content.

The CMP (consent management platform) on our Android and iOS apps has been officially certified by the IAB TCF. 

With this certification, we ensure that user consent is properly collected and managed in compliance with GDPR regulations. As a publisher, this ensure better ad targeting and better monetization opportunities for your inventory.

We've introduced a new fun way for users to like and support your content on the Dailymotion app!

Users can now:

• Tap the icon for a +1 like.
• Double-tap the screen multiple times to give multiple likes.
• Press and hold to give up to +10 likes at once.

We've revamped dailymotion.com homepage for logged-in users, making it easier for them to discover new content and engage with it with 3 new feeds:

• For you: Personalized recommendations based on user interests.
• Explore: Trending content from popular creators and hot topics.
• Following: The latest videos from creators they follow.

With this update, users are more likely to follow creators, engage with content and watch more, helping creators grow their audience, increase views and revenue.

We've introduced accessibility improvements to the watching page on dailymotion.com, making it easier to navigate with:

• Better responsiveness on small screens when using larger font sizes.
• Improved contrast in popups for better readability.
• Keyboard controls fixes.

Additionally, viewers can now download transcripts directly from the Player (Settings > Accessibility > Transcript). Transcripts can help you reach a wider audience by making your content more inclusive for viewers who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, or prefer text-based formats.

We've improved the search bar on web with a new "Top results" tab so that users can find relevant videos, playlists, profiles and live streams all in one place.

Clicks already improved on average by +4% on search results, meaning more visibility and traffic to your content and profile.

You can now choose to enable or disable comments and Reacts on your content published on Dailymotion platforms.

This option is already available when uploading/editing content via our mobile apps, and will soon be available in the Studio as well.

From your uploaded content: 3-dot menu on the right > Edit > Advanced settings in the top right corner > Enable comments and Reacts on your video.

As of February 3rd 2025, our legacy Android and iOS SDKs are no longer supported.
