Reacts are available for users based in France, using our Android or iOS application.
The feature will be available in more countries in the coming months.
The feature React gives you the possibility to express your opinion about a content you are watching on the Dailymotion app by filming and posting a short video.
Prerequisites
Reacts are available if:
- You are logged in with a validated Dailymotion account - Your account must be validated via the code received by email. If you don't have a Dailymotion account yet, you can create yours.
- Your account has a username - You need to create a username in order to post a React on Dailymotion. The username will be the name displayed on your video React. Learn more about how to create a username.
Post a React
- When watching a video on your Dailymotion app, click on React or on the
icon
If it is the first time you are using the feature, allow the app to access your camera and microphone - Press the central button to start recording your React, and press again to stop the record
- Click Next if you are happy with the preview
- Add a title (minimum 15 characters) and hashtags
- Publish your React
Edit or delete a React
- From your Dailymotion mobile app, go to your Profile
- Go in the React tab
- Click on the 3-dot menu
on the React you want to edit or delete
- Click on Edit caption or Delete video
Share a video React
From a React
- Click on the Share icon
- Choose the sharing option you want
From your Profile
- Go in the React tab
- Click on the 3-dot menu
on the React you want to share
- Select Share video
- Choose the sharing option you want

Where can I see all the Reacts of a video?
All the Reacts of a video can be found in the React tab of the video page.
Please note that for the moment only the 10 most recent Reacts will be accessible from the video page.

Where can I see the React I just posted?
Once posted, your React is accessible:
- from the React tab of the video to which you reacted
- from the React section of your Profile
How long can my React be?
Reacts cannot exceed 45 seconds
Can I save my React without publishing it?
Yes, you can download your React on your device by pressing the
icon in the top right corner of the preview
