Dailymotion strictly prohibits any content legitimizing, glorifying, trivializing or denying any recognized violent events or international crimes committed against a population, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group or any other group based on personal attributes or characteristics. We also prohibit content that legitimizes or glorifies serious crimes against individuals (e.g. murder, sexual assault) or property (e.g. theft, extortion, destruction).
These rules apply to all forms of content available on Dailymotion, including videos and/or livestreams, descriptions or titles of videos, thumbnails, keywords, playlists, channels, and usernames.
What kind of content infringes these rules?
In particular, our users are prohibited from uploading any content:
- Contesting, legitimizing, glorifying and/or trivializing attested violent events or international crimes committed against a population or a nation and against ethnic, racial or religious group or any other group based on their personal and protected attributes (negationism, revisionism, etc.)
- Promoting, provoking, glorifying, normalizing and/or authorizing murder, manslaughter, assault, etc. ;
- Promoting provoking, glorifying, normalizing and/or authorizing sexual assault etc. ;
- Encouraging, affirming, supporting or advocating for property abuse (e.g. vandalism, arson, extortion; theft, damage, etc.)

How to report content glorifying, trivializing or denying a crime ?
We invite our users to report such content on Dailymotion via the "report" button next to each video, by selecting the category "Apology, trivialization, denial of a crime" on our reporting form.
These reports allow us to identify content that may infringe our Prohibited Content Policy. Content that violates this policy will be removed from our platform.

How do we process your report?
Each report received by Dailymotion is processed by our moderation team in charge of evaluating, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, if the reported content is illicit and/or contrary to our Prohibited Content Policy which is an integral part of our Terms of Use.
