Create custom analytics reports

You can generate a custom CSV report either by using one of our pre-defined templates or building your own using the custom templates feature.

Once report generation request is received, they are processed in the background. A link is emailed to the user when the report is ready to by downloaded

Generating Reports

Pre-defined template

Go to the Analytics section in your Dailymotion Studio
Open the Reports section
Click on Create a new report
Select a pre-defined template from the list. (It will auto fill dimensions and metrics fields)
Select a date range and time granularity (day or month)
Name your report through the Custom report name to easily identify it in the Report History
Click Generate report to start generation

The report will be generated in the background and the progress can be viewed in the Report history table. An email will be sent out to your email address when the report is ready to download

Custom Template

Go to the Analytics section in your Dailymotion Studio
Open the Reports section
Click on Create a new report
Select the metrics and dimensions.
Select a date range and time granularity (day or month)
Name your report through the Custom report name to easily identify it in the Report History
Click Generate report to start generation

The report will be generated in the background and the progress can be viewed in the Report history table. An email will be sent out to your email address when the report is ready to download

 
Limitations
Reports can take up to 2 hours to be generated
Download link expires after 48 hours
No more than two reports can be generated in parallel
Maximum allowed time range selection is 6 months
Report history will show a list of reports generated in the last 7 days

Download your report

Once the report has been generated, you'll able to download your report from the interface.

Go to the Analytics section in your Dailymotion Studio
Open the Reports section
Scroll down to the Recent reports space
Click on the Download icon available next to the status

A download link is also available for reports that are ready to be downloaded.

Report statuses

Here are the following statuses available:

Processing: The report is being created and will be accessible within 2 hours
Ready: The report can be downloaded in the interface
Failed: The report creation did not succeed, you can reach the support team
Expired: The report has been generated
