How to determine the audience of your profile or video?

Proper identification of the audience of the content you post on Dailymotion is part of your contractual commitment and/or may be necessary to fulfil legal obligations.

You will find below some guidance on which type of content are likely to be considered as created for kids or must be subject to restrictions for sensitive audience.

Created for kids	According to the FTC’s guidance (section D), a video is directed at children if: Children are the primary audience of the video Children are not the primary audience, but the video is still directed at children because it features characters, singers, actors, activities, games, songs, stories, or other subject matter that reflects an intent to attract children attention (this is known under COPPA as “mixed audience” content). Sensitive content restrictions	Sensitive content restrictions apply on content containing the following: Sexual references Violence, graphic images, or other mature themes not suitable for young and/or sensitive audiences As a content uploader of mature content described above, you must enable the Sensitive content restrictions on the content uploaded on your profile. If you uploading sensitive content, make sure it is not in violation of our Child Protection Policy. Note Enabling sensitive content restrictions on a video disables its monetization
