How to determine the audience of your channel or video?

According to the FTC’s guidance (section D), a video is directed at children if: 

• Children are the primary audience of the video
• Children are not the primary audience, but the video is still directed at children because it features characters, singers, actors, activities, games, songs, stories, or other subject matter that reflects an intent to attract children attention (this is known under COPPA as “mixed audience” content).

• Sexual references
• Violence, graphic images, or other mature themes not suitable for young and/or sensitive audiences
