By default, new videos are added to the top of your manual playlist. You can reorder the videos in your manual playlists from your Dailymotion Studio.
We allow you to order your videos manually, or automatically based on a defined playlist order.
Only possible on manual playlists, not on dynamic ones.
Manually reorder videos in a playlist
- From your Dailymotion Studio, go to the Media section.
- Select the Playlist section.
- Click on the Playlist title to open your playlist and start to reorder.
From here, you have 2 options:
Use drag & drop
- Click on the icon
on the right side of the screen.
- Drag & drop your video and place it where you want.
Once your video is placed, the changes are automatically saved and your new playlist order is ready.
Use video numbers
- Click on the number box.
- Fill the new desired position of the video within the playlist.

Automatically reorder your videos based on a Playlist order
- From your Dailymotion Studio, go to the Media > Playlist.
- Open the playlist you want to reorder.
- Go to the Advanced tab on your playlist settings.
- Pick the Playlist order that fits your needs: Newest to oldest, oldest to newest, or most viewed.
- Save.
