Live stream is a paid feature. This dedicated dashboard is only available for organizations who subscribed to the feature.
The Live streams dashboard allows you to analyze the audience data from your live events.
Access your dashboard
- Log into your Dailymotion Studio
- Click on Analytics > Live streams
Understand your metrics
Metrics are displayed at the top of the dashboard:
You can click on one of the metrics at the top to see the corresponding performances.
Example: click on Total time watched to view the time spent on your events by video, channel, countries...
Metric | Description |
Viewers | Total number of viewers who watched your live event |
---|---|
Total hours watched | Total time spent by your audience on your live event. Hover over the card to see the total in details. |
Average time watched |
Average time spent per viewer on your live event |
Peak concurrent viewers | Maximum number of concurrent viewers for the selected period |
Understand your dimensions
The selected metric is broken down by dimensions and shows the Top items for each.
Example: if you select the Views metric, the Top Live streams panel will display the Top 6 Live streams generating the most views for the selected time period.

Define a date range
The dropdown menu "Time" enables you to filter data within a specific timeframe.
You can select predefined date ranges, such as Last 7 days, Last Month, This year (and much more), or define a custom time period and choose the start and end dates you need.
Data retention
We apply a data retention policy of 25 months. Data older than this are no longer available.
Analytics for a single video
There are two ways to access performance analytics for a live stream video
From the Media section
- Log into your Dailymotion Studio and go to Media > Live streams
- Click on the menu on the right of the live stream you want to check
- Click on Analytics
From the Analytics section
- Log into your Dailymotion Studio and go to Analytics > Live streams
- Click on the All channels / All videos dropdown filter on the top left
- Click on Videos
- Search by video title. When found, click on the video title
