At Dailymotion, we believe that digital advertising must be reliable and transparent. We are committed to promote the best and safest experience for our advertisers, publishers and end-users including, through establishing clear criteria applicable to ads served on the Dailymotion service.
Applicable legislation differs from one country to another, but all ads must be compliant with the laws and regulations of the territory where the ad is displayed in.
In addition to any rules that may be imposed by the applicable local law, Dailymotion prohibits or strictly restricts the presence on its service of the following categories of advertisement:
Illegal, inappropriate or discriminatory content
Ads that display or promote content that is illegal, defamatory, shocking, hateful, sexually suggestive, intolerant, discriminatory, or violent as well as content with malicious code (such as malware, auto-redirection to third party websites and fishing technics) or any other content that does not meet applicable advertising regulations and any content contrary to applicable laws and regulations in the applicable territory are not allowed.
Dishonest and counterfeit products
Ads for products or services that are designed to deceive or enable dishonest behavior are not allowed. This rule also applies to promotion of counterfeit products that are as well banned from our service.
Some restrictions may apply to ads promoting certain types of goods and services (such as alcohol or cigarettes). We invite you to contact us directly to obtain more detailed information on rules applicable to ads promoting any of the above-mentioned categories of goods and services in particular territories.
Prohibited content
Buyers are prohibited from serving ads that fall into the following IAB categories:
IAB7-39 - Sexuality
IAB14 - Society
IAB15-1 - Astrology
IAB15-5 Paranormal phenomena
IAB23 - Religion & spirituality
IAB25 - Nonstandard content
IAB26 - Illegal content
