Content Security & Privacy

When your content is transferred from our webserver to a viewer’s browser, it is done so via HTTPS. Meaning that your content is delivered via a secure connection to DM viewers, guaranteeing their privacy.

 

 

From the Dailymotion Studio, you can set your videos to private which only is viewable to those who have the link.

A private video will never appear in the search engine results or show on Dailymotion.  

Password protected videos are only viewable to users to have the password that the Partner creates.

Regardless of the users accessing the video onsite or from an embed, the password will be required for viewing.  

If you want to limit the visibility of your video and have it be available for a limited period of time, you can use our Publication dates feature.

When the start date is set on your video settings, the video will automatically switch from Private to Public.

When the end date is set on your video settings, the video will automatically switch from Public to Private and will no longer be accessible for the users.

You can set your playlists to Public or Private

Public, your playlist will be found on search and displayed on your channel page, where Private won’t be searchable at all.

Geoblocking lets you decide what regions you want a video to be available in.

You can deny the access to the countries where your content shouldn't be accessible or you can allow the access to the countries to a limited list where your content should be accessible.
