Dailymotion strictly prohibits any visual, audio, or written material that shows, describes, or otherwise represents a child (anyone under the age of 18) engaged in a real or simulated sexual act, or that is intended to sexually exploit the child.
These rules apply to all forms of content available on Dailymotion, including videos and/or livestreams, descriptions and titles of videos, thumbnails, keywords, playlists, channels, and usernames.
What kind of content infringes these rules?
In particular, our users are prohibited from uploading:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): images, videos, or other media depicting the sexual abuse or assault of a child (including providing instructions to take part in any child sexual abuse; depicting or promoting pedophilia or incest)
- Material that sexually depicts children, even if no physical abuse is shown.
- Content that has been manipulated or digitally created (including deepfakes or cartoons) to depict child sexual exploitation.
- Any material that is used to groom, lure, or exploit children for sexual purposes.
This list is non-exhaustive.
How do I report child sexual exploitation material?
We invite our users to report such content on Dailymotion via the "report" button next to each video, by selecting the category "Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)" on our reporting form.
These reports allow us to identify content that may infringe our Prohibited Content Policy. Content that violates this policy will be removed from our platform.
You can find out more about our reporting process in our dedicated article.
How do we process your report?
Each report received by Dailymotion is processed by our moderation team in charge of evaluating, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, if the reported content is illicit and/or contrary to our Prohibited Content Policy, which is an integral part of our Terms of Use.
