The "Engagement" dashboard gives you deeper insights into how your audience is responding to your content by displaying the number of unique ratings received on your content, which reflects the number of likes. Learn more about likes.
In this article, we'll guide you through the metric and dimensions available, helping you get a better understanding of your audience engagement and identify which content resonates most with your viewers.
Access the "Engagement" dashboard
- Log in to your Dailymotion Studio
- In the left menu, navigate to Analytics
- Click on Engagement
Understand the metric
Metric is displayed at the top of the dashboard: click on it to see associated data and breakdowns per dimension. The visual chart automatically updates accordingly.
For example, click on "Unique ratings" to see the number of likes segmented per gender, age, country, etc.

Unique ratings |
Total number of unique likes received on your content. A +1 like and a +10 like will both count as 1 unique rating in the dashboard. Learn more about likes. |

Understand the dimensions
Your metric is segmented across different dimensions, providing a deeper understanding of how your audience engaged with your content.
For example, if you select the "Unique rating" metric: the "Videos" section will show the most rated videos within the specified timeframe.
For more granularity
Click on any data in the dashboard to access more detailed related data.
The following dimensions are available as follow for "Unique ratings":

Number of likes received on each profile |
Define a date range
Click on "Last 7 days" at the top of the page to filter data within a specific timeframe.
You can choose:
- Predefined date ranges, such as Last 7 days, Last Month, This year (and much more)
- Custom time period and choose the start and end dates as you need
Data retention
We maintain data for up to 25 months. Data beyond are no longer available.
