You can easily upload and manage your content from the Dailymotion Studio, our complete content management system accessible for all our users.

Upload videos from the Studio
You can easily upload videos from your Dailymotion Studio using your computer or mobile device:
- Log in to your Dailymotion Studio and navigate to Media > Video
- Select Upload video in the upper right corner

Press Select video files
You can upload up to 10 video files at a time
Make sure your video files are compliant with our upload specifications
- While your video is being processed, you can fill out the video information
Mandatory fields are: title, category, language, is it created for kids - Select Save once you are done

Understand the upload status
When uploading a video on your Dailymotion Studio, a badge indicates the status for each upload so you can check if your file is being processed successfully, if there is anything needed on your side or if the upload failed.
The following status are available:
The video has been created on your Dailymotion Studio and is queued for upload |

The video is being uploaded on our servers |
|
The video has been uploaded and is being optimized to be available in different qualities and have a thumbnail |
|
The video has been processed successfully but some mandatory information are still needed (title, category, language, is it created for kids):

|
The video upload failed:
|
|
No badge |
If there is no status next to your video, it means that it has been successfully processed with all mandatory information and is now available on Dailymotion |
Understand upload errors
Unsupported format detected
The uploaded file is in an unsupported format.
Please reupload your video in one of our supported formats: MOV, MPEG4, MP4, AVI, WMV, MKV, FLV
You have reached your upload hour limit for the day
You have reached the daily upload limits (see Total Duration) allocated to your Dailymotion account.
You can upload more content in 24 hours.
You have reached your upload file limit for the day
You have reached the daily upload limits (see Upload volume) allocated to your Dailymotion account.
You can upload more content in 24 hours.
Your video has been blacklisted
The video you are trying to upload has already been blacklisted in our database and cannot be added on Dailymotion.
Please upload a different video.
Content duration is too long
The video you are trying to upload is too long.
Please make sure that your video file is compliant with the upload limits (see Content duration) allocated to your Dailymotion account.
File size is too big
The video you are trying to upload is too heavy.
Please make sure that your video file is compliant with the upload limits (see Video size) allocated to your Dailymotion account.
Upload failed for an unknown reason
Please try reuploading your video. If the issue remains, contact our Support Team.
