All types of content (videos, live streams, and playlists) can exist in only one of the following visibility states:

Public: Public content is viewable by everyone and appears in search results and elsewhere on Dailymotion.

Draft: Draft content is only viewable by a content creator when required information (title, language, category, etc.) is missing. Once the required information is completed, content can be made public, private, or password-protected.

Private: Private content is viewable to those with a link and never appears in search results nor elsewhere on Dailymotion.
- Password-protected * : Password-protected content is only viewable to users with a password you create and will never appear in search results nor elsewhere on Dailymotion. When a user will reach the video (onsite or embedded), a password is still required for viewing.
