Your channel is your identity on Dailymotion: how it looks and how you present it will have an impact on the user landing on your channel. Here are a few reasons why it is important to manage and customize your Dailymotion channel:
- Improve search results - Accurate and relevant channel information about the content you create improves the chances of showing up in search results and recommendations

Manage your channel details
To start managing your channel, follow the steps below:
- From your Dailymotion Studio, go to Channel from the navigation menu
- You will see two sections:
- Basic info - for the main details and identity features of your channel
- Advanced - for more complex settings
