Why do we enable autogenerated subtitles on the uploaded videos ?

Activate / Deactivate autogenerated subtitles
Android / iOS
Depending on where you are in the app, you can activate / deactivate the autogenerated subtitles in 2 different ways:

From the video feeds:
Tap on the Subtitles icon in the bottom left corner of the video

From a video watching page:
Once you tapped on a video to open it, click on the Settings icon > Subtitles > Select the language followed by the mention "autogenerated"
Web
To activate / deactivate autogenerated subtitles on your web browser:
- From dailymotion.com, click on a video to open it
- Click on the Settings icon > Subtitles > Select the language followed by the mention "autogenerated"
Which videos are eligible for autogenerated subtitles?
To have autogenerated transcripts, a video must be published by a channel with at least 100 views and set in one of these languages: French, English, Spanish, Turkish, German, Arabic or Italian.
The subtitles are based on the video language set by the video creator during the upload.
