What is the Certification Badge?

A certification badge (checkmark) next to a Dailymotion channel’s name indicates that the account is authentic and officially represents a brand, media company, content creator, business, or organization.

 

How to apply for Certification ?

If you believe your channel should be certified, you can submit a request to Dailymotion.

 

What we review

When you apply, Dailymotion will evaluate your channel based on the following criteria:

 

Dailymotion Partner Program Membership
  • Your channel must be part of the Dailymotion Partner Program.
  • As a Partner, you provide contractual guarantees that your channel and its content comply with all laws and Dailymotion’s Terms of Use.
Authenticity
  • Your channel must represent the real entity, creator, or brand it claims to be.
  • Dailymotion may verify your identity by checking factors such as the channel’s age and additional documentation.
Completeness and professionalism
 
  • Your channel must be public.
  • It must have a profile picture, description, and channel banner.
  • You need active public videos and a substantial number of followers.
  • The overall look and feel of your channel should be professional.

 

Important information

Dailymotion does not monitor certified accounts for changes or activity.

However, Dailymotion reserves the right to revoke your certification badge or terminate your Partner Program membership and/or Dailymotion account at any time and at its sole discretion, especially if you violate the Terms of Use, in particular the Prohibited Content Policy.

If someone is impersonating you or your channel, you can report it to us at any time.
