When your video plays, your audience will see in-stream advertisements served within the Dailymotion video player.
Advertisements are always labeled or closable. We are committed to creating an efficient and transparent advertising ecosystem for content creators, advertisers, and users.
We serve 3 main types of in-stream ads:
- Pre-Roll: A video advertisement that plays before your video starts.
- Mid-Roll: A video advertisement that plays in the middle of your video. Your video will pause, the ad will play, and then your video will resume. Mid-Rolls are usually only served with videos that exceed 5 minutes in length.
-
Post-Roll: A video advertisement that plays after your video is over.
You can also check the ad formats supported by the Dailymotion Player.
Note
- For videos played on Dailymotion.com (for Creators): it is currently not possible to choose which advertisements appear and at which position. However, we regularly monitor and update our algorithms in order to serve relevant ads on your videos.
- For videos embedded on your domains (for Edge accounts): you have the possibility to define an ad schedule. Please get in touch with your Dailymotion Account Manager to explore the best options for you.
